A STUDENT MUST STUDY , BUT IS STUDY EVERYTHING ABOUT A STUDENT???

A student's duty is study, but is study everything about a student?Many years pass and my concept for a student is proven wrong.My concept was 'Study Is Everything About A Student'.At my primary school times i always felt that i am smarter than my other cousins. This is so, because our target for UPSR is not similar(of course mine is to achieve straight A's).And i did get 6A's & 1 B result for my UPSR(good result ^.^)and it has broken the record for the highest number of A's achieve in UPSR among my cousins .Later i entered my dreamed high school.My first year(2005) and the second half year in high school seems very perfect as i m the prefect of the school and one of the proud member of student cadet police(ha ha), my result is not bad too.But as time passes, it's already my second year in the school. I've grown from form 1 to form 2, the activity of my prefect board and my uniform body grew more and more. At that time i am afraid that it will affect my studies ...So i choose to quit them all together and focus only on my studies...But it didn't turn out as i thought but worse...Since i quit going for activity at school I've drowned into the deep lake of laziness and it has been a negative effect on my studies..I know there's no turning back, I so I hold on to my concept of 'studies are everything'. One day, I came across a friend(from uni) that is successful , i ask him how do he manage his time in the holidays. He said he would do something he is interested but always priority first. Then i asked him what about his studies. He replied 'studying is not always everything' .I thought of his words for days and finally i realise that of all these time i am just a jerk who thinks himself smart. now i know that the concept i hold on these time is just to provide an excuse for me to be lazy to be not doing any thing.Study Is Not Everything ! believe me it's true... Don't tell me you cannot go school because exam is coming nor say a word about STOP just because of study. Don't say STUDY IS EVERYTHING, it is RIDICULOUS! even you do say so, you won't be studying for 24 hour a day. So those who have the same thought with this big jerk, eik hong. do throw it away and replace it with a new one ... STUDY IS NOT ALWAYS EVERYTHING & STUDENTS ARE MEANT TO LEARN EVERYTHING ABOUT LIFE...Just to remind,for all the student , study is still your PRIORITY one...(don't forget)^.^p/s: don't ran away from co-curriculum it's good for you. if you do , i would be the first to give you a present call REGRET...
